Geographical introduction

Munshiganj Sadar Upazila is situated at a distance of 25 km from Dhaka. It is bounded on the north by Dhaleshwari river, Shitalaksha river and Narayanganj district, on the south by Padma river, Oshriyatpur district, on the west by Tongibari upazila, on the east by Meghna river and Gazaria upazila.
