Shrigyan Atish Dipankar: For hundreds of years, this Vita of Shrigyan Atish Dipankar, popularly known as "Pandit's Vita" to the locals, has been neglected. Just a few years ago, a monastery was built and a memorial plaque was erected at Bajrayogini village of Munshiganj Sadar upazila on the occasion of his birth millennium.

Vanu Bandopadhyay: Vanu was born on 26 August 1920 in Bikrampur, Munshiganj district. After graduating from St. Gregory's High School and Jagannath College in Dhaka, he came to Calcutta in 1941. Here he joined a government office called Iron and Steel Company and after living with his sister on Ashwini Dutt Road in Baliganj for two years, started living on Charu Avenue in Taliganj.
